Tier 1
£10 per session, held on a Sunday evening. Bookable in 6 weekly slots.
The weekly exam class is an opportunity to see worked solutions to an Edexcel GCSE Maths Higher past paper or mock paper. These sessions are designed to consolidate methods, correct misconceptions and enhance exam technique.
There will be the opportunity for students to ask questions for clarification.
Tier 2
£60 per week bookable in 6 week slots
Each week students attend two hourly online tuition sessions as well as the Sunday evening exam solutions sessions.
During session 1 students receive teaching of grade 7-9 topics. Then in session 2 they do targeted exam practice on those topics.
These grade 7-9 topics are the ones schools tend to leave until last to teach, especially as many students will not be able to access them and so often they don't get to them at all.
Tier 3
£80 per week bookable in 6 week slots
As per tier 2 with an additional half hour individual online session per week where the student gets to ask questions and receive one-to-one tutoring on any GCSE Maths topics, receive help with exam questions or get help with any other Maths issues they are having.
Further Information
Each week links to the online meetings will be emailed to the student along with any supporting resources so that these can be printed before the sessions if required.
We will work using a collaborative approach where students can share their screens, explain the work to each other, ask questions via their cameras or in the chat as well as receiving expert tuition from Sonia, the Teacher Tutor.
